One step at a time!

As I go back to my university days, I recall Coach Paul helping and supporting me in overcoming many life obstacles and also giving me the strength to cope with such challenges. He was always a source of inspiration for me. As a student, I was very much a confused type of person who couldn’t make the right decision at the right time, and whenever I faced those situations, I always used to call Paul and when I shared the issue with him, the way he explains it to me is really wonderful that what shall I do and how shall I do it, and the most important thing he taught me was to be ‘self-dependent’. The Coach’s comprehension of the scenario is absolutely amazing, and he can make us feel comfortable and believe in ourselves whenever we need it, as well as comprehend and evaluate the situation.

Many times during my university days, I faced various issues because everything was new to me, such as the place, the professors, the people, etc. etc…. so at the time, I wasn’t much able to manage my situations and used to call my parents for help but later realized I can’t bother my parents in those small issues and sometimes the issues, I was unable to share with my parents so then I used to call Paul and after telling him the whole story, he used to give me some tactics and While I was studying engineering, I was concerned about my academic performance, and the strategies and concepts I received from Paul were quite beneficial. I am still utilizing them now, and they are effective!

Paul was one of the persons who helped me decide which engineering route to pursue since I was unsure at the time, so yeah, I contacted him! He explained everything to me in different ways, but he never told me that I should choose Mechanical, Civil, or anything else. Instead, he made me aware of my likes and dislikes in the field of technology, and once I discovered that, he explained to me a few technical subject related topics that I liked, and after listening to all of those points, I was able to choose my engineering stream, which was Mechanical Engineering. Later, while I was applying for admission, he constantly encouraged me to be conscious of any circumstance and not to put off anything that I wanted to accomplish; in other words, he told me to avoid procrastination. When I was assigned the final project to do during my final year, it was really difficult for me to think what shall I make and how to present it, and by Paul’s tactics and tricks where he taught me always “think about your likes and dislikes and work on that,” so I as a Mechanical Engineering student was very fond of cars so I decided to make Gear system of a car and the project was a total success and I was really appreciated for my work. After I graduated from university, I was faced with the dilemma of what to do because our university had a low number of placements due to Covid-19, and most of the companies were IT-related, so as a Mechanical Engineer, I couldn’t find work. At that time, Paul was a great help to me, encouraging me to prepare for job interviews, to gain confidence and determination, and to never give up hope.

So, I’d want to express my gratitude to Coach Paul for all he has done to assist me, and all thanks to him since it is he who has helped me grasp the contemporary world and how to cope with it, which is extremely important at the moment owing to the contests that are taking place.
